Casablanca and New Balance Team Up on Brand New 327

Menswear brand Casablanca, recently announced as one of eight LVMH Prize finalists, has joined forces with New Balance for a new sneaker silhouette, the 327. The model, which originally debut at Paris Fashion Week, is inspired by New Balance’s archive of ’70s running shoes and arrives in two vibrant green and orange colorways.
A perforated white leather upper is accented with suede overlays in green and orange. The New Balance “N” is applied to the lateral in larger-than-usual form, hitting the midsole and eye stay. A sculpted, texturized outsole in green wraps onto the heel. The word “idéaliste” (idealistic) is printed on the inner tongue, an optimistic touch.
The Casablanca x New Balance 327 retails for $150 USD and will be available online only on April 18 via New Balance’s website and Casablanca’s website.
