Sami Miro x Heron Preston Join Forces for a Reworked Vintage Collection
Highlighting the importance of paying attention to our environment.
With the fashion industry developing ways to become more sustainable and environmentally friendly, Heron Preston has joined forces with Sami Miro for a range of upcycled vintage items. The collection celebrates the two designers’ shared values and views on protecting our environment.
Titled “Natural Disaster,” the Spring/Summer 2020 lineup comments on the prevalence of environmental damages caused by global warming. Taken from Heron Preston’s archives, denim pieces are reconstructed with a contrasting selection of materials including silk and organza. Cropped jackets and tops are paired with straight-legged trousers or skirts, while a black mini dress is accentuated with cut-out details at the waist. Each item is branded with Heron Preston’s signature orange label at the sleeves and hem.
