Nike's Latest Air Max 1 Sports Spring Pastel Shades & an Iridescent Swoosh

New season, new kicks.

In addition to spring-friendly shoes like the recent Air Max 98 SE in “Oracle Aqua/Barely Volt,” Nike has dropped a new iteration of its Air Max 1 silhouette. Dubbed “Barely Grape/Hyper Turquoise,” the sneakers boast cotton candy-like pastel tones just in time for the upcoming season.

Arriving with a white upper, the new kicks are accented with overlays in “Barely Grape,” “Hyper Turquoise” and “Rose” just above the midsole and at the heels. Sporting a partially transparent, lime-green Air Max unit, the shoe is branded on its tongue and rear, as well as the sides with an iridescent Swoosh. Lightweight cushioning and a rubber Waffle sole add extra comfort and durable traction, keeping the sneakers both casual and practical.

Scroll through the gallery above for a closer look at the Nike Air Max 1 in “Barely Grape/Hyper Turquoise,” which is available for purchase now on the brand’s web store for $120 USD.

In case you missed it, get a first look at the upcoming Stussy x Nike Zoom Spiridon Caged sneaker.
