Rihanna's FENTY Unveils Its First-Ever Luxe Faux Leather Capsule
An extension of the 2-20 drop.
Rihanna is always on the hunt for innovative materials and techniques to use for her fashion label, FENTY. For its latest drop, the brand has released its first-ever Faux Leather Capsule – an extension of the recent 2-20 collection.
FENTY’s signature designs have been crafted out of a leather alternative made in Italy by using a blend of 50 percent polyurethane and 50 percent polyester with a soft cotton lining. The new material forms a flattering silhouette along the body, while the lightness of the fabric provides comfort and ease of movement. Available in two elegant colorways – “Jet Black” and “Coffee Latte” – the garments were inspired by photographer Irving Penn’s iconic Small Trades series that documented tradespeople in their work uniforms. The seven-piece capsule includes a slightly oversized shirt, a pair of high-waisted trousers with combat pockets, a drawstring hoodie, as well as the label’s iconic corset dress and skirt.
