Disney Announces Live-Action Remake of 'Hercules'
The Russo brothers have been named as the film’s producers.
Disney has officially confirmed that it will be developing a live-action remake of the ’90s classic animated movie, Hercules. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Joe and Anthony Russo of Marvel‘s Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame are set to produce, and Dave Callaham of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will be the film’s writer.
The remake is still in its early stages of production. Reports state that it is still unclear whether the live-action version will stick to the original 1997 film’s musical elements, or follow the footsteps of the upcoming Mulan remake. Details about the movie’s director and cast members have not been disclosed yet, so stay tuned while we wait for more information to surface.
