Pangaia to Add 5 New Summer-Ready Colorways to Its "Botanical Dye" Collection

With natural colors made from plants, fruits and vegetables.

Pangaia has announced that it will be expanding its bestselling “Botanical Dye” collection. The range’s tracksuits and T-shirts will be available in five vibrant colorways such as “Rubia Mauve,” “Rubia Red,” “Nimbus Pink,” “Nimbus Purple” and “Leafy Green.”

According to a press release, the garments’ natural dye has been sustainably sourced from food waste, plants, fruits and vegetables. Additionally, the brand uses a low-water garment-dyeing method, which is a non-toxic process that lessens the amount of harsh chemicals and colorants that typically discharge into the ocean. Finally, the natural dyes extracted from renewable resources “avoid the use of petrochemicals and synthetic, chemical dyes” – this technique helps maintain the environment for future generations.

Pangaia’s “Botanicals 2.0” collection will be available online on May 5 at 1 p.m. EST. In case you missed it, peep the label’s latest line of sleeveless T-shirts.
