Thai Jewelry Brand Pattaraphan Launches Gender-Neutral "Tusk" Collection
10% of sales for the month will go to the Save Elephant Foundation.
Pattaraphan is a Thailand-based jewelry brand that combines authentic Thai craftsmanship with the edgy aesthetic of New York City. Founded by Pattaraphan Salirathavibhaga, the bench jeweler and artist’s label has dropped its “Tusk” collection in honor of the country’s national animal: elephants.
The range features gender-neutral accessories available in “Yellow” or “White,” which have all been handcrafted in Thailand. Highlight items include the Ele ear cuff, the Iyara (“elephant” in Thai) ear cuff, the Double Tusk ring, the Ratha necklace with customized clasps, as well as the Seamless link bracelet. According to a press release, the pieces were created with the intention to “represent not just the beauty of these magnificent creatures, but also the tragedy and violence they experience.”
In light of the ongoing global pandemic, the label will be donating 10 percent of the sale from the collection for the month to the Save Elephant Foundation. Take a look at all the offerings in the lookbook above.
