Teyana Taylor to Drop 'THE ALBUM' on Juneteenth

Featuring collaborations with Kehlani, Erykah Badu, Missy Elliott and more.

UPDATE (June 16, 2020): Teyana Taylor has finally announced the official release date of her upcoming third album dubbed THE ALBUM. Set to drop on Juneteenth (June 19) via G.O.O.D Music/Def Jam Recordings, the contemporary R&B artist’s 23-track record features collaborations with Rick Ross, Erykah Badu, Quavo, Missy Elliott, Kehlani, Future, Big Sean, Ms. Lauryn Hill and more.

Additionally, Taylor’s album includes her new graduation anthem “Made It,” the Janet Jackson-approved “Bare Wit Me,” the Kanye West-produced “We Got Love” and “How You Want It? (HYWI?)” featuring King Combs.

THE ALBUM will release on June 19, which will be available on all streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.


ORIGINAL STORY (May 8, 2020): Following the release of her second studio album K.T.S.E. back in 2018, Teyana Taylor has revealed that she will be dropping her third record this coming June via G.O.O.D Music. The contemporary R&B artist took to Instagram to make the announcement by posting a photo of the album’s cover art, along with a simple caption: “THE ALBUM, June 2020.” According to Revoltthe artist hosted an Instagram Live Q&A session with her friend and dance collaborator Coco Gilbert last month, where she confirmed that “the album is done.”
