Tia Adeola Restocks Ruffle Face Masks

In red, pink and yellow.

UPDATE (June 29, 2020): Tia Adeola is back with another restock of her signature ruffle face masks, this time in pink, red and pastel yellow colorways. Inspired by the Renaissance, each mask is adorned with tonal ruffle detailing and can be hand-washed to ensure safe use.

Tia Adeola’s Ruffle Face Mask retails for $45 USD at her website.

ORIGINAL STORY (June 17, 2020): Designer Tia Adeola, who formerly operated as the brand Slashed by Tia, has restocked her playful ruffled face masks. The non-medical coverings are hand made and arrive in neon orange and black colorways. Sheer tulle ruffles line the masks, which feature a velcro closure at the neck.

Adeola’s face masks are inspired by the Renaissance period, an era she references in much of her work. “I wanted to make people have no choice but to want to stay safe and take the necessary precautions because the masks looked so good that they just wanted to wear them simply for fashion purposes,” the designer told Teen Vogue.
