Gucci Beauty Introduces 3 Limited-Edition Shades to Rouge à Lèvres Satin Lipsticks
Inspired by Hollywood stars from the Golden Age.
Having expanded its summer range with new nail polishes and bronzers last month, Gucci Beauty has now introduced three new shades to its line of Rouge à Lèvres Satin lipsticks. The latest colors were specially selected by Alessandro Michele himself, with inspiration from Hollywood stars from the Golden Age.
Known for its creamy yet lightweight formula with a long-lasting finish, Rouge à Lèvres Satin leaves the skin smooth and soft. The new orange, red and pink shades, dubbed “The Girl From Paris,” “No More Orchids” and “Maggie Scarlet” are centered around expressing sensuality. “I thought back to the lipsticks I saw in my life, when I was little, my mum’s lipstick, who was always inspired by the ’50s, and I wanted to give it the most powerful meaning, that of the Hollywood divas and the mythology of cinema, which first put the lips in the spotlight,” Michele shared in a press release. The products are complete with a golden, etched base with a new blue-green cap.
You can shop Gucci Beauty’s latest lipsticks at the brand’s online and offline stores as well as retailers like Lane Crawford for $42 USD each.
