Another Colorway of Lucien Clarke's Louis Vuitton Skate Shoe Has Surfaced

Designed in collaboration with Virgil Abloh.

UPDATE (August 27, 2020): Following the reveal of Lucien Clarke’s upcoming collaboration with Louis Vuitton, a new colorway of the skate sneaker has surfaced. This time around, the shoe sees a white upper paired with a translucent coral midsole, complete with Louis Vuitton’s signature branding as well as the skater’s signature at the lateral.

In an Instagram post, Clarke also shared what looks like a LV x Palace signature skate deck, but there’s yet no confirmation as to if the product is expected to release.

ORIGINAL STORY (August 25, 2020):Following the release of Louis Vuitton‘s Fall/Winter 2020 Menswear campaign, the luxury label has teamed up with French model and skater Lucien Clarke for a signature LV skate shoe.

Revealed by Clarke himself on Instagram, the shoe marks the first-ever skateboard footwear in the 166-year history of Louis Vuitton. Designed in collaboration with Virgil Abloh, the shoe saw its reveal in a full advert in skate magazine Thrasher. Channeling design cues from early ’00s skate silhouettes, the shoe sports layered mesh-and-suede panelling accompanied by a stand-out signature from Lucien on the lateral. The translucent midsole sees LV’s iconic monogram graphics towards the heel, and a LV stamp finishes off the shoe on the rear of the outsole.

The shoe has been teased in both a black/orange version as well as green/grey. As of now, there’s yet no official release date tied to the collaboration, as well as a price tag. Watch this space as any more information surfaces, and peep the announcement below.
