Champion Drops Unisex "Gamer" Collection for Esports Players
Specifically designed for the lifestyle of a professional gamer.
Champion has unveiled its latest unisex collection made for esports players. In celebration of its “Gamer” range, the sportswear label has teamed up with esports teams and brands including HyperX, Dignitas, VENN, PlayVS, the Esports Awards, as well as influencers like FaZe Pamaj, Nate Hill and FaZe Blaze to release a selection of garments that celebrate the lifestyle of a gamer. David Robertson, Director Champion Global Brand Marketing, said in a press release:
“As a brand that embraces all sports, we wanted to create an unofficial uniform for gamers that modernizes the classic hoodie and recognizes that they are athletes with distinctive needs for their sport. Our Reverse Weave® patents came about as we were trying to solve the needs of athletes at the time, and we’ve taken the same approach to create a brand-new design for the gamer lifestyle. We are incredibly excited to unveil this new line of hoodies and pants for gamers and esports athletes.”
The line’s hero piece is the new patent pending hoodie that features narrowed sleeves, a unique rib cuff and an oversized hood that can be worn over any type of gaming headset. Additionally, it comes with a kangaroo pocket with zippers to store your phone and a top-loading pocket to carry your console. Rounding out the style is the interchangeable VELCRO® patch found on the right chest and on the left shoulder. The collection also consists of pants available in “Black” and “Heather Gray,” just like the pullover and zip-up hoodies.
