New Balance and Tokyo-Based Brand AURALEE Team up on New Iterations of FuelCell Speedrift

Dropping on August 15 exclusively in Japan.

Shortly after teasing its upcoming collaboration with Dime, New Balance has teamed up with Tokyo-based label AURALEE on the latest FuelCell Speedrift. Arriving in minimal colorways such as “Lime Yellow” and “Charcoal,” the new iterations boast a sleek and modern design throughout.

Specifically created for runners, the sneaker‘s upper features breathable textile material and a visible propulsion forefoot plate. Inspired by the FuelCell 5280 silhouette, the Speedrift sports sophisticated elements and delivers uncompromising performance. In celebration of the shoe’s launch, T-HOUSE New Balance will host a limited-time installation in collaboration with contemporary artist Takuro Tamayama from August 15 to 25.

The AURALEE x New Balance FuelCell Speedrift in “Lime Yellow” and “Charcoal” is priced at ¥24,000 JPY (approximately $230 USD) each. The silhouette will be available on August 15 via New Balance’s Japan website, its Roppongi and T-HOUSE store in Tokyo, as well as AURALEE’s web store.
