Nike Introduces Sustainable Air Force 1 Crater in "Summit White"

Arriving as a women’s exclusive sneaker.

Having just released a colorblocked iteration of the Air Force 1 Shadow, Nike is now adding a consciously-made AF1 Crater to its lineup. Arriving as a women’s exclusive shoe, the silhouette comes with minimal and versatile details.

Dressed in “Summit White,” the upcoming sneaker marries basketball style with sustainability. Each shoe is made using at least 20 percent recycled materials, with the foam midsole crafted with 11 percent recycled materials. The white upper is accompanied by a blue toe box sporting a translucent fabric, with tonal stitching details spotted throughout. The midsole sees a speckled pattern with a gray shade at the toe and heel on the outsole. Rounding off the design, the insoles come in yellow with Nike Air branding printed in black.

Check out Nike’s Air Force 1 Crater in “Summit White” above. The kicks, priced at $110 USD a pair, are slated to drop on October 1 over on Nike’s website.
