Telfar Announces UGG Collaboration
The duo debuted a teaser video revealing select items from the collection.
Telfar has announced an ongoing partnership with UGG, set to launch in 2021. The collaboration is part of UGG’s newly announced FEEL YOU initiative, a series of creative partnerships with artists and designers around the world.
A brief teaser video, posted to UGG’s YouTube channel and Telfar’s Instagram, reveals select pieces from the collection including a rhinestone logo T-shirt and dual-branded shorts. A close-up shot shows Telfar’s instantly recognizable logo rendered in fluffy white shearling, perhaps pointing to a sheepskin version of the brand’s hit logo bag. Telfar Clemens himself has long been a fan of UGG — “I have made unofficial, unauthorized UGG boots in two shows already dating back to 2010. So I’ve always been obsessed with a certain kind of ubiquity and when something really unique ends up on everybody,” the designer said in statement. “What I want to do is get down to the DNA of UGG and see what genes we have in common. To get down to the core of that feeling.”
