Starbucks Adds More Plant-Based Food and Beverage Choices to Its Asia Menus

Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and more.

Starbucks has unveiled a new lineup of plant-based options across its locations in Asia as part of its commitment to being a resource-positive company. President of Starbucks Asia Pacific Sara Trilling said in a press release:

“We’re thrilled to offer our customers more ways to personalize their Starbucks Experience and enjoy plant-based choices at Starbucks. This menu expansion is designed to offer our customers the same flavors and handcrafted service they know and love from Starbucks, in a new way. We’re excited to continue our journey toward becoming resource positive together with our customers in Asia.”

Starting this month, the coffee company will introduce new plant-based handcrafted beverages such as the Oatmilk Cocoa Macchiato and Almondmilk Hazelnut Latte to eight markets. In addition, oat, almond and coconut milk will be available as part of select stores’ core menus.

Plant-based food choices are also set to arrive in Hong Kong, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand. However, do note that some options include dairy ingredients. Highlight items include Hong Kong’s Vegan Chocolate Bread Stick, Singapore’s Impossible™ Wrap and Taiwan’s Beyond Meat® Bolognese Penne.

Head on over to Starbucks’ website or app to see if your city is currently offering the new products above and below.
