Krispy Kreme Creates Witchy Donuts for Halloween
Indulge in these spooky treats.
Following its U.K. launch, Krispy Kreme has now released Halloween-inspired donuts in the United States. Temporarily rebranded as “Krispy Skreme,” the company’s limited-edition treats include four spooky flavors.
The base of the Abra Cat Dabra Donut and Spooky Sprinkle Donut is the signature Original Glazed®. The former comes with chocolate icing and black sanding sugar, and is topped off with a cat formed by icing and sugar fondant eyes. Meanwhile, the latter is dipped in orange icing and finished with a Halloween sprinkle blend. The third donut, dubbed Enchanted Cauldron, features a generous amount of Kreme™, and is decorated like a cauldron with sprinkles and a witch’s broomstick made from pretzels. Finally, the Bewitched Broomstick is an unglazed shell donut with purple icing sprinkled with gold stars. The treat is topped off with green buttercream and a pretzel broomstick.
The four donuts are now available for a limited time at participating Krispy Kreme U.S. stores. Starting on October 16, customers will be able to purchase $1 USD dozens every Saturday, while guests in a full Halloween costume can receive a free donut on October 31.
