A-COLD-WALL* x Beats Update Studio3 Wireless Headphones

The tech accessory comes in a speckled gray-and-chalk colorway.

Beats has tapped A-COLD-WALL*‘s Samuel Ross for an updated iteration of its Studio3 wireless headphones.

The device is covered in “ACW* Concrete,” a speckled utilitarian slate-and-chalk colorway. Highlighting the collaboration, a black stripe is added to each side of the headset alongside ACW*’s logo in white. Touching on sustainability, the headphones come in a case made out of recycled wood fiber sourced from responsibly managed forests.

“The focus of our Beats A-COLD-WALL* collaboration was to convey a universal material language that is both sensitive and recognizable to all, ensuring a minimalistic sensibility carried through the process,” Ross spoke of the partnership in a statement.

On top of the design, the Studio3 maintains its original features, including active noise canceling and 22 hours of battery life. The device uses Fast Fuel charging and is equipped with enhanced microphones that add to the user’s audio experience. The built-in Apple W1 chip allows for easy connection with iPhones.

Take a closer look at the headphones above. The co-designed Studio3 will launch via ACW* on October 15, followed by Apple’s website and select retailers on October 18.
