A Look Back at Zendaya's Most Iconic Red Carpet Outfits
Including her Rick Owens gown for the ‘Dune’ event in London.
When it comes to red carpet style, Zendaya always understands the assignment. From stunning in a Joan of Arc-esque Versace armor dress at the 2018 Met Gala, to looking like a sci-fi goddess in a Rick Owens gown at Dune‘s London red carpet event, the actor has been at the top of her fashion game, no matter at awards shows, film festivals or dinner parties.
A collaborative effort between her and her longtime stylist Law Roach, Zendaya’s style has no limits. At the Dune screening on Monday night, the actor donned a warrior-inspired, sculptural number in cream white from Rick Owens’ Fall/Winter 2021 collection, while her costar Timothée Chalamet wore an Alexander McQueen suit.
Last month at the Venice Film Festival, Zendaya’s choice of red carpet attire was just as memorable. Her tan brown “wet look” leather gown, a custom creation by Balmain, took over social media as soon as she arrived at the event.
The Euphoria and Spider-Man star also loves exploring flashy color palettes. Earlier this year, she attended the BET Awards in a purple Versace dress with lime green accents, a tribute to the outfit that Beyoncé wore to the 2003 ceremony. Fans of Zendaya will probably also remember her all-pink ensemble for the 2020 Critics Choice Awards. From Tom Ford’s Spring/Summer 2020 collection, the statement-making getup featured a metallic fuchsia breastplate and a color-matching maxi skirt.
