Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya Battle It Out in New 'Dune' Trailer

A new trailer for Denis Villenueve’s Dune is finally here. After postponing the film’s release no less than three times, Warner Bros. just released an action-packed preview of the anticipated feature, starring Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya.
Portraying a character named Chani, the Euphoria star opens the preview. “My planet Arrakis is so beautiful when the sun is low,” she says, pivoting to the film’s central conflict: “The outsiders ravage our lands in front of our eyes.” Chalamet, who plays protagonist Paul Atreides, soon makes an appearance, confiding in Duncan Idaho (Jason Momoa) that he’s been dreaming of Chani, a reveal that sets the stage for their eventual romance. The trailer also gives fans a peek at explosive battle scenes, in which Paul and Chani fight to protect Arrakis from enemies in pursuit of Spice, the planet’s life-extending substance.
Dune is set to release in theaters and on HBO Max on October 22. Check out the trailer above.
