Here's a Full Look at the Arc'teryx x Jil Sander+ Collaboration

Functional designs ideal for winter sports.

UPDATE (November 8, 2021): After much anticipation, Jil Sander and Arc’teryx have finally unveiled their upcoming Fall/Winter 2021 capsule.

The unisex collaboration puts focus on outdoor activities such as skiing, snowboarding and mountain sports, while highlighting Luke and Lucie Meier‘s aesthetic and Arc’teryx’s engineering. The collection features three jackets, a pair of bibbed trousers and a one-piece suit. Emphasizing function and construction, the designs are made out of 3L GORE-TEX Pro, making them waterproof and breathable. White, black and blue-gray hues take over the range, taking inspiration from glaciers.

“We both grew up spending time in the mountains enjoying winter sports but we could never find garments that balanced high performance with high aesthetic quality. Eventually, with Arc’teryx, a company we have always admired for their rigor and commitment to research, we had the chance to design them,” the Meiers share in a press release.

The collaborative capsule will be available on November 10 at Jil Sander and Arc’teryx‘s online stores, along with select retailers worldwide.

ORIGINAL STORY (November 7, 2021): First teased in December 2020, Arc’teryx and Jil Sander+’s anticipated collaboration is finally set to release this month.

Not much information has been revealed apart from two teaser videos posted on the Milan-based fashion brand’s Instagram. One clip shows an individual is seen skiing down some slopes, while the other is a close-up of a model’s face. However, we can expect the upcoming Fall/Winter 2021 capsule to be a combination of Luke and Lucie Meier’s minimalist aesthetic with Arc’teryx’s durable outdoor items. Based on the teasers, we can also speculate the collection will be focused on winter sports such as skiing and snowboarding.

A fashion film for the Arc’teryx x Jil Sander+ capsule will launch at 9 a.m. ET on November 8. The full collection will release online and at select stores on November 10.
