KAWS' COMPANION Takes Over Reese's Puffs Cereal Box
Meet KAWSPUFFS.
KAWS has joined forces with Reese’s Puffs for his first-ever cereal collaboration. Arriving shortly after the artist’s latest HOLIDAY installation in Singapore, the team-up features two limited-edition box designs, along with an augmented reality (AR) game featuring his signature COMPANION figure.
One of the boxes comes in Reese’s iconic orange hue, with COMPANION pictured jumping into a bowl of cereal. Each box comes with a QR code that leads fans to the AR game. This iteration of the partnership is now available stateside for $3.99 USD per box.
Meanwhile, the second edition comes in a blue color to highlight the nighttime mode that can be found within the 24-hour AR experience. The limited box is set to drop on November 17 online for $49.99 USD a box. KAWS is also making select collectors’ boxes available, which can be won by achieving high scores within the KAWSPUFFS AR game.
