Balenciaga To Present Fall 2022 Collection With a Video and Lookbook
Here’s when to catch the house’s upcoming collection.
Following its presentation in Paris for Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2022, Balenciaga is now readying for its Fall/Winter 2022 collection.
Titled “The Lost Tape/The Show That Never Happened,” Demna Gvasalia‘s upcoming line will be accompanied by a video of the same name, as per WWD. A lookbook will also debut alongside the video.
This announcement also follows the house’s first show in Shanghai back in July due to Chinese clients being unable to physically be in the French capital for the brand’s haute couture comeback. Balenciaga’s presentation in mainland China also marked its first time showcasing a couture range beyond Paris. “The influence of China is everywhere — aesthetically, economically, culturally and in fashion — so it was important for us to be present in this market with the top of the pyramid in terms of Balenciaga’s offer,” the label’s chief executive officer Cédric Charbit told WWD.
Balenciaga’s “The Lost Tape/The Show That Never Happened” Fall 2022 collection will debut on December 8 at 2 p.m. CET (8 a.m. ET).
