Barbie x Polaroid Team Up on a Sunny 600 Instant Camera
The latest from vintage camera seller Retrospekt.
Retrospekt, a Milwaukee-based company that refurbishes vintage cameras, has put together a Barbie x Polaroid collaboration for fans of the toy.
The retailer has given the 600 Instant Camera a sunny Mailbu-style makeover in vibrant hues of yellow and pink inspired by the ’90s. Focusing on the west coast aesthetic, the camera is highlighted with warm sunray patterns alongside a “Stay Golden” graphic at the front. The rest of the camera’s body comes in cotton candy pink, and can be customized with stickers that come with each purchase. To add to the vintage feel, the Retrospekt-built and officially licensed collaboration is made out of refurbished parts from vintage ’80s and ’90s Polaroid models.
Priced at $169 USD, the custom Polaroid 600 Malibu Barbie Instant Film Camera is now available at Retrospekt’s web store.
