Rumor Has It That the Nike Air Max 1 "Big Bubble" Is Making a Comeback
Here’s when the silhouette is potentially dropping.
The Nike Air Max 1 OG “Big Bubble” will reportedly make a comeback sometime in 2023.
Known as “Big Bubble” or “Big Window,” the silhouette initially launched in 1987 but was introduced the year before as part of the streetwear giant’s first production run. The potential re-release reworks the iconic footwear style, featuring its original colorway and build. The upper is made of a white mesh base with candy red and gray overlays encasing the exterior. Elsewhere, the Air units can be found on the “Summit White” midsoles. The tri-tone rubber outsole in red, white and tarmac gray round off the sneakers.
The Air Max 1 “Big Bubble” might drop in spring 2023. Stay tuned while we wait for official details from Nike.
