Tom Holland has had an impressive career, which only became bigger since portraying Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. If Holland continues playing the web-slinging superhero, his paycheck will be heftier than ever.

According to Variety, the actor’s next Spider-Man film could have his salary somewhere in the low eight-figures. Additionally, the outlet reported that prior to playing Peter Parker, Holland was earning under $1 million USD for film roles. However, since Spider-Man: No Way Home turned out to be a mega success, raking in $1.05 billion USD in just 12 days, Holland could earn as much as $2 to $5 million USD for independent films. For traditional studio films, he could earn between $5 and $10 million USD. Lastly, Holland could make $20 million USD if he works with major streamers.

At this rate, it looks like Holland is well on his way to making the big bucks. The England native is set to star in three more Spider-Man films, according to producer Amy Pascal. However, despite the confirmation, Holland seems to be mentally preparing to hang his Spider-Man suit sometime in the future. “I don’t want to say goodbye to Spider-man, but I feel like we might be ready to say goodbye to [him],” he recently told People.

“I don’t want to be responsible for holding back the next young person that comes in who deserves it just as much so,” he added. “I would love to see a future of Spider-Man that’s more diverse — maybe you have a Spider-Gwen or a Spider-Woman. We’ve had three Spider-Mans in a row, we’ve all been the same. It’d be nice to see something different.”

Don’t miss Holland on the big screen. Spider-Man: No Way Home is currently playing in theaters.
