Reebok Taps Sustainable Designer Justin Mensinger for "Pieces of Us" Collection

An eco-friendly line advocating mental health awareness.

The Reebok Collective, an initiative celebrating inclusivity, has launched its new “Pieces of Us” collection in collaboration with Justin Mensinger, the winner of HBO Max’s The Hype. The garments showcase his signature patchwork designs and ability to upcycle clothing, bearing repurposed pieces by members of the Collective.

The capsule, comprised of six different sweatshirts, features a vibrant color palette. Each piece is adorned with inspirational quotes on mental health and sewn from various textiles, ranging from plaid to denim.

The Hype winner stated: “I wanted the pieces in this collection to tie together cohesively but also retain their own unique look and feel. Each piece of clothing that previously held someone’s energy and style came together to create a new story and garment someone else can enjoy. I can’t wait for the world to see this collection.”

The sweatshirts will be auctioned off on Charitybuzz’s website in January 2022. All profits will go to Reebok’s non-profit Partner BOKS, which aims to incorporate physical and mental health practices into childrens’ lives.
