Leaked Supplier Image Confirms Apple AirPods 3 Design

Combining elements from Apple’s classic AirPods and AirPods Pro.

UPDATE (March 15, 2021): As Apple‘s rumored spring event looms, another leaked image of the tech giant’s third-generation AirPods has surfaced. Obtained by Gizmochina, a series of renders seem to confirm the design of the next-gen earphones.

The leaked images corroborate reports that the new AirPods will combine elements of Apple’s second-gen wireless earphones and the AirPods Pro. A rectangular case houses slanted earbuds, designed without silicone in-ear tips. The model is speculated to arrive with Active Noise Cancelation.

If rumors hold, Apple could officially unveil the new AirPods as soon as March 23. Head to Gizmochina to check out the new AirPods renders.

ORIGINAL STORY (February 22, 2021): Following months of rumors surrounding Apple’s third-generation AirPods, a leaked image allegedly depicting the earphones is giving customers a closer look at the gadget.

The photo, shared on Twitter by tech news outlet MacRumors, seems to confirm reports that the new AirPods will serve as a middle ground between Apple’s second-gen wireless earphones and the in-ear AirPods Pro. An elongated, rectangular case mirrors the design of the AirPods Pro while the actual earbuds — designed without silicone in-ear tips — resemble Apple’s classic AirPods. Tentatively dubbed “AirPods Pro Lite,” the model is rumored to release as soon as March.

Head to the MacRumors website to view the leaked image of Apple’s third-generation AirPods.
