COMME des GARÇONS CDG x Vans To Drop Old Skool Collaboration
Contrasting details update the OG silhouette.
COMME des GARÇONS‘ CDG has joined forces with Vans for a pair of collaborative Old Skool sneakers. The label’s popular logo – previously seen on Stussy jackets, Cactus Plant Flea Market tees, bucket hats and more – is now printed onto the OG silhouette.
Keeping true to the original design, the footwear style is updated with CDG’s logo printed in black across the white midsole. With the branding serving as an accent, the rest of the shoe remains similar to its predecessors. The upper comes dressed in black canvas and suede overlays with contrast stitching, while the white Jazz Stripes adorn the sides. Rounding out the look are black foxing running atop the logo print.
Take a closer look at the kicks above. The collaborative Old Skool is slated to drop via the CDGCDGCDG web store and select retailers on February 5.
In case you missed it, Vans recently teamed up with Opening Ceremony for a footwear and apparel capsule.
