Dover Street Market Is Opening a "Little Market" in Paris
Showcasing the works of seven up-and-coming designers.
Following the opening of its Parfums Market, COMME des GARÇONS-owned Dover Street Market is now set to open a new shop dubbed “Little Market.” Situated in Paris, the small space will stock seven designers under Dover Street Market Paris, the multi-brand retailer’s initiative supporting emerging labels.
Featured names include Berlin‘s Honey Fucking Dijon, New York‘s Vaquera and California‘s ERL, as well as Guadalajara’s Liberal Youth Ministry, Moscow‘s Rassvet, Paris’ Weinsanto and Singapore‘s Youths in Balaclava. The labels are not owned by COMME des GARÇONS, but have shared marketing, sales and operational resources, according to Business of Fashion. As of now, the online page for Dover Street “Little Market” reveals artworks from each of the brands created based on their signature style and recent collections.
