You Might Not Be Able To Share Instagram Feed Posts to Your Stories
The social media giant is testing the update in select regions.
For those who like to double post in their Stories to promote their in-feed content, Instagram is testing out an update that blocks users from doing so. According to Social Media Today, the social media platform began rolling out the change to select users in late January.
“We hear from our community that they want to see fewer feed posts in stories. During this test, you won’t be able to add a feed post to your story,” the pop-up notification reads. If the update is officially released later on, this means that users will be able to post tweets and IGTV previews in their Stories but not the contents from their main feed.
As of now, the change hasn’t been confirmed and only select users in certain regions are experiencing this removal. Instagram has shared that it doesn’t have any plans to block reshares for users worldwide.
