Nicolas Ghesquière Lenses Louis Vuitton's Pre-Fall 2021 Women's Collection
Featuring an energetic take on everyday sportswear silhouettes.
Shortly after launching its new range of handbags for Spring/Summer 2021, Louis Vuitton has unveiled its Pre-Fall 2021 women’s collection. Lensed by none other than Nicolas Ghesquière, the line takes sportswear to the next level.
The range’s color palette boasts clashing shades of royal blue, bubblegum pink, red, violet, yellow and lime green. Modeled by Stacy Martin, the French fashion house’s upcoming styles feature delicate embroideries blended with an urban attitude. “Stacy has innate elegance and an inspiring personality. I have a lot of respect for her career path, her bold choices and the roles she takes on,” Ghesquière shares in a press release. “I very much enjoyed photographing Stacy. So cool and laid-back, I love the way she wears my collections.”
Outerwear designs arrive in sleek silhouettes with intricate patterns, which are paired with wide-leg pants, shorts or skirts. Elsewhere, a salopette dress sports interlocking chains printed over Oshkosh-style stripes, while a puffer vest is crafted out of premium black leather featuring the label’s classic LV monogram motif. In accessories, the Nouvelle Vague bag has been reworked in a variety of colorways. Finally, knee-high boots and chic slides round out the collection.
