Kid Cudi and BAPE Collaborate on Expansive Capsule Collection
Spanning outerwear, loungewear, accessories and even a special edition watch.
Kid Cudi has partnered with BAPE on a 20-item collection, the streetwear brand’s largest collaboration with a musical artist. A nod to Kid Cudi’s longstanding history with the label (the rapper used to work at the BAPE store in New York), the capsule spans outerwear, staples such as hoodies and T-shirts and accessories including a special edition G-SHOCK watch.
A wool and leather varsity jacket bears a chenille patch of Kid Cudi’s face on the back, as well lettering that reads “MOON MAN” down the right sleeve. The same phrase appears on sweatpants and denim. Expanding on the collection’s galactic theme, a graphic illustrating Kid Cudi as an astronaut is applied to T-shirts, camo hoodies and caps. A surprise addition to the range, a BAPE-branded G-SHOCK watch arrives in pink with a bright red strap.
