Lazy Oaf and Melissa Channel '90s Vibes With Jelly Platform Sandals

Accompanied by small handbags for the spring and summer seasons.

Having partnered with Y/Project earlier this year, Melissa has now joined forces with Lazy Oaf for a ’90s-inspired collaboration. The vegan footwear brand, originally known for its nostalgic “jelly shoes,” marries its style with the London-based label’s fun, quirky aesthetic.

Arriving in black, pink, green and blue options, the platform sandals are adorned with heart and daisy motifs on the strap. The shoe is fastened with a Lazy Oaf-branded Velcro clip, while each design is complete with chunky, tonal midsoles. In addition to the footwear style, the duo has crafted jelly handbags in the same color theme for the ultimate spring and summer outfit.

“We had seen some recent Melissa collabs that had knocked our socks off and when they got in touch we were really excited about exploring the ways we could bring a bit of Oafness to their shoes,” the fashion brand’s creative director Gemma Shiel shares in a press release. “The way the shoes are made is so interesting and unique, which provides plenty of creative challenges which we love. They are a brand that loves working with creatives and have been so accommodating with exploring our ideas and hundreds of questions.”

Take a closer look at the collaborative pieces in the gallery above. You can now shop Melissa x Lazy Oaf’s sandals and bags online.
