Nike’s Latest Air Force 1 “Reveal” Is a DIY Project
Reveal hidden layers by tearing away layers.
Nike‘s signature Air Force 1 sneaker is a classic, and now the sportswear giant is giving it a DIY makeover. Appropriately titled the “Reveal,” the new iteration of the trainer boasts a thin white fabric which is designed to be torn away to reveal bold colors and textures hidden beneath.
The upper features a “TEAR HERE” instruction, as well as a small scissor symbol on the Swoosh, showcasing the shoe’s DYI purpose. You can personally design your sneaker, deciding how much you want to tear and reveal, and how much you want to keep concealed. Underneath the white layer we’re seeing hues like “Fauna Brown” across the heel, “Pale Vanilla” toe as well as a pastel pink Swoosh.
There’s yet no official release date tied to the Nike Air Force 1 “Reveal,” but keep your eyes peeled as any more updates surface. We’re expecting the shoe to release within the coming weeks, retailing at $110 USD.
