adidas Gives Its Iconic Superstar a "Futureshell" Update
A modern take on a classic silhouette.
adidas has expanded its lineup of footwear offerings. The sportswear brand has given its classic Superstar a futuristic makeover, aiming to tell the story of the silhouette’s transition from being a high-performance basketball shoe to a must-have lifestyle piece.
Featuring a dual-layer upper, the sneaker boasts a white base encased in translucent TPE shell material. The see-through design sports hits of coral pink on the Three Stripes, while shades of blue can be found on the line graphics, adidas branding on the lateral, forefoot and heel tab. Rounding out the pair are the milky midsoles and outsoles, which come with text prints on each foot: “Future” on the right and “Shell” on the left.
Priced at approximately $135 USD, adidas’ Superstar Futureshell is now available to purchase via select online retailers like Chmielna20.
