STORY mfg. x Reebok Rework the Club C and Beatnik
Vegan footwear styles inspired by the outdoors.
A London-based label heavily focused on sustainable practices, STORY mfg. has unveiled its first-ever footwear collaboration with Reebok. For the team-up, the brand has reworked the Club C and Beatnik silhouettes with inspiration from the outdoors.
“We came up with the brand on a walk together and whenever we need to think creatively, we go on a walk and hash things out,” STORY mfg.’s co-founder Saeed Al-Rubeyi shared in a press release. “Walking is our meditation and as we pound the pavement, we pick our brains for inspiration — we forage for wisdom. These versions of the Club C and Beatnik are slubby-gummy-peacey and friendly, without being foolish — like us.”
Keeping true to STORY mfg.’s dedication to mindful practices, both the Club C and Beatnik boast minimal design details throughout. Featuring an all-white upper made using an undyed linen blend, the vegan shoes are accentuated with a light blue peace sign stitched onto the laterals. The Beatnik comes with padded construction across the upper for added coziness, while the heel strap allows it to transform into a mule when needed.
