Apple Rumored To Develop New Watch With Flexible Wrap-Around Display

A minimal yet functional design.

Adding onto its SE and Series 6 designs, Apple is now rumored to be developing a new iteration of the Apple Watch. According to MacRumors, the updated product will see a flexible display that wraps around the wrist.

The news comes after the tech company filed a patent titled “Display Module and System Applications” with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Although it looks like a regular watch, the gadget would sport a flexible display that extends onto the straps. The screen can reportedly be customized using diverse square and rectangular panels, while the bezel is minimized with the battery and processor placed beneath the display.

Peep the illustration above to get a better idea of the potential new Apple Watch, and stay tuned as we learn more.
