ORIGINAL STORY (September 15, 2020): Apple held its annual September keynote event, this time virtually, to tease new innovations and announce upcoming releases. Major product reveals from the event include a new iPad Air, Apple Watch SE and subscription service, Apple One.

The fourth generation iPad Air is upgraded with A14 Bionic, Apple’s most advanced chip to date, and is available in two eye-catching new colorways: mint “Green” and pastel “Sky Blue.” Similar to the anticipated iPhone 12, the next-gen device is constructed with flat, rather than rounded, edges. In addition to the eighth generation iPad (Apple’s most affordable iPad model), the Air will utilize the iPadOS 14 operating system, releasing on September 16.

The Apple Watch also received an update with the announcement of the Apple Watch SE. The affordably priced model includes all major functions of the Apple Watch Series 6, also announced today, including an altimeter, motion sensors, microphone and international emergency calling. Lastly, Apple introduced a new subscription model, Apple One, combining all of the tech company’s services into one conveniently priced package. For $15 USD per month, customers can receive Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade and iCloud.
