IKEA's Wearable FÄLTMAL Quilt Is a Snuggie That Also Turns Into a Pillow

Take a look at the homeware giant’s “quillow,” a convertible quilt-pillow.

Anticipating warmer weather and more time spent outdoors, IKEA has announced its latest innovation: the “Quillow,” a wearable quilt that converts into a pillow.

The Snuggie-like FÄLTMAL quilt is a cozy blanket constructed with sleeves and a button closure at the back. The quilt can be zipped into a compact cushion, an ideal option for camping trips or other outdoor events — it even features a fishnet compartment for storing essentials. “Whether enjoying a celebratory evening with friends or swapping the traditional summer holiday for a camping staycation with the family, the FÄLTMAL quilt will help wearers stay cozy and warm once the sun goes down,” a statement from IKEA boasts. Even better, the three-in-one offering is made from 100 percent recycled polyester.

IKEA’s FÄLTMAL “Quillow” will retail for approximately $34 USD and launch at the IKEA website in April.
