Facebook Will Launch a COVID-19 Vaccine Finder Tool
Showing users where and when they can get vaccinated.
Mark Zuckerberg has announced plans to launch a Facebook tool that will help users make COVID-19 vaccine appointments.
The CEO announced in a Facebook post that the social media platform will add a tool to its COVID Information Center that shows “when and where you can get vaccinated.” The feature, created in partnership with Boston Children’s Hospital, will also provide links to make a vaccine appointment. Zuckerberg added that a information center will be introduced to Instagram as well.
“The data shows the vaccines are safe and they work,” the Facebook co-founder wrote. “They’re our best hope for getting past this virus and getting back to normal life. I’m looking forward to getting mine, and I hope you are too.”
