Junya Watanabe x New Balance Reimagine the BB480 Silhouette
Boasting a minimal white and black colorway.
Shortly after unveiling its capsule with Public School, New Balance is set to release another collaborative range with Junya Watanabe‘s eYe label. Featuring a new take on the BB480 silhouette, the sneaker arrives in a minimal white and black colorway.
White tones can be found on the leather quarter, heel and mudguard. Providing contrast are the black toebox, collar and midfoot N logo, which is outlined with a light gray hue. Elsewhere, the sportswear company’s classic branding has been printed on the nylon tongue’s fabric tag over the pair’s model number “480.” Rounding out the design are the eYe hits seen on the heels and insoles.
The eYe Junya Watanabe x New Balance BB480 retails for ¥24,000 JPY (approximately $220 USD), and will release on March 19 in Japan at select Junya Watanabe stockists and COMME des GARÇONS stores.
