Alighieri Discovers "The Wandering Stars" for FW21 Collection

Necklaces, bracelets, rings and more inspired by stars falling from the sky.

Jewelry label Alighieri has now revealed its Fall/Winter 2021 offerings inspired by Dante Alighieri’s “Divine Comedy.” Designer Rosh Mahtani tells the story of traveling through the heavens with necklaces, bracelets, rings and more.

“Astronomers used to call the planets ‘wandering stars’ at the time because they didn’t know what they were. I realized that we’ve been wandering stars throughout this whole year, orbiting in isolation away from each other,” the creative explained in a conversation with WWD. Each jewelry piece references fragments of stars falling from the sky, as seen on drop pearl earrings and bold chain necklaces. Standout designs include raw pendants paired with freshwater crystals, as well as statement golden rings layered atop one another. Additional pieces arrive in the form of chain headwear and pearl designs.

Take a full look at “The Wandering Stars” collection above. You can expect the FW21 range to drop via Alighieri’s website this coming fall.
