Actually Curious Is a Card Game Designed To Bring People Together

Teaching players to have conversations with more empathy.

Actually Curious is a card game created in 2018 by Michael Tennant‘s Curiosity Lab, a marketing company dedicated to making a real difference in the world. Designed to bring people closer together, the game teaches players to have conversations with empathy.

“Nothing builds bonds more than being seen and feeling heard, and Actually Curious is the only party game that uses the science and psychology of emotional connection,” the brand stated. The current sets available on its website are the “Curiosity” edition, “Happy Hour” edition and “Culture” edition.

The first version explores questions of background, values and views on important issues, while the second iteration focuses on questions about dreams, ambitions and cherished memories with loved ones. The third edition digs deep into your lived experiences through the lens of the culture you love. Elsewhere, the upcoming “Human Rights” edition centers on diversity and inclusion, LGBTQ+ and women’s rights, mental health and more.

You can now purchase Actually Curious’ card games online for $25 USD.
