Rihanna Is Bringing Back Dark Romance to Your Underwear Drawer

With Savage X Fenty’s “Piccadilly Lace” collection.

Rihanna is making a case for a little more drama in your underwear drawer. For Fall, Savage X Fenty is introducing the “Piccadilly Lace,” a new black lace collection that leans into the darker, more romantic side of lingerie dressing.

Fronted by Rihanna herself, the collection includes a lace corset, bra, brief and thong, all rendered in classic black. The pieces bring a sultry edge to everyday underwear, with delicate lace and barely-there silhouettes designed to feel just as good peeking out from beneath an outfit as they do worn for yourself.

After seasons of sporty basics, subtle bralettes and pared-back underwear, “Piccadilly Lace” taps into the return of lingerie as something a little more expressive. Black lace has always had a certain attitude, think femme fatale or old-Hollywood glamor, and Rihanna is giving it a distinctly Savage X Fenty update.

Whether styled under a sheer top, paired with Fall tailoring or kept as a private luxury, the collection makes a convincing case for bringing some more romance into the everyday.

The collection is now available to shop via the brand’s website.
