Fiskars Teams Up With Designer Maria Korkeila for First-Ever Clothing and Accessories Collection

Garden wear with a streetwear sensibility.

To mark the arrival of spring, Fiskars, the world-renowned Finnish brand best known for its top-tier home and garden tools and iconic, orange-handled scissors is releasing its first-ever clothing and accessories collection in collaboration with Maria Korkeila. As an homage to gardening and urban exploring, the Finnish fashion and textile designer put a modern twist on the new collection by imbuing each of the pieces with a streetwear sensibility.

Boasting 11 fashion-forward styles, the unisex range features a subdued color palette consisting of earth-toned hues while each piece has been crafted from organic and recycled materials and vegan leather. Using socially responsible suppliers to fashion each of the environmentally-minded pieces, the collection features a versatile offering of workwear-derived garments that includes utilitarian-inspired outerwear complete with a detachable hood, hem and sleeves, utility vests, cargo pants fashioned in contrasting hues, oversized T-shirts in bold graphics along with a tool belt that can be converted into a bag that sits on the waist.

For those looking to dial up their spring style, the new Fiskars by Maria Korkeila capsule collection is brimming with stylish and functional pieces ideal for exploring nature and beyond. To shop the featured styles that are now available in the U.S. head to the brand’s site.
