Sarah Andelman's JUST AN IDEA Launches Collectible Books Celebrating Creatives
The inaugural collection features the likes of Nicole McLaughlin, Sho Shibuya and more.
Sarah Andelman, the founder and creative director behind colette (which shut its doors in 2017), is now expanding her consulting agency JUST AN IDEA with a series of collectible books. The limited-edition release celebrates creatives in the realm of design, floral arrangements, sneakers and more.
The inaugural lineup features five editions that cover the works of upcycling master Nicole McLaughlin, artist Sho Shibuya, illustrator Eric Ng, author Douglas Coupland and florist Louis-Géraud Castor. The expansive books, limited to 300 copies each, spotlight each individual in 96 pages of works and text. McLaughlin’s edition is forwarded by none other than Pharrell Williams, while the print dedicated to Shibuya is already sold out as of now.
Celebrating the launch, JUST AN IDEA is additionally holding socially distanced book signing events with the artists. You can head over to the company’s Instagram page to learn more. The five books retail for €50 EUR (approximately $60 USD) a copy at the official web store.
