Helmut Lang Takes Inspiration From Skiwear for FW21
Functional, multi-seasonal items to upgrade your wardrobe with.
Following up on the recent “Slogan” capsule, Helmut Lang has now unveiled its full lineup for the Fall/Winter 2021 season. The range keeps the post-pandemic world in mind, showcasing functional and seasonless garments we’re longing to wear.
Taking inspiration from skiwear and waterproof designs, the lineup is crafted using hi-tech materials ranging from double neoprene to astro foil. Boasting a sci-fi appearance, each garment is made to be windproof and water-resistant.
Kicking off the lookbook is a selection of metallic silver pieces arriving in the form of pleated skirts, hooded jackets and matching trousers that are paired with simple white ribbed tops and tees with detachable sleeves. Layering remains a mainstay with wrap skirts paired with flared trousers, while looks are kept simple with hooded mini dresses. Additional highlights include inside-out denim jackets and skirts, as well as cropped blazers and corduroy top-and-bottom sets.
