The Attico Reveals Summer 2021 Beachwear Capsule Collection
The Milanese label launches statement bikinis and swimsuit cover-ups.
Known for designing glamorous-meets-sophisticated separates for the strong, modern woman, Milan-based label The Attico has recently added the beachwear category to its offering with a new capsule collection. Titled “State of Nature,” the Summer 2021 range marks brand co-founders Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini‘s first attempt at translating their street style sensibilities into fashionable swimwear. “Through beachwear, we aim at suggesting a feeling of ease with oneself, a sensation of confidence that comes from the balance of inside and outside and that projects strength, power, positivity,” the two said in a press release.
To capture this feeling of empowerment and the quiet joy of being surrounded by nature, the Italian design duo has tapped South African photographer Henrik Purienne to lens the campaign. Shot against the picturesque backdrop of Cape Town, the images highlights a number of key silhouettes from the collection, ranging from a metallic green triangle bikini set to an ultra-high cut, racerback one-piece in ocean blue. A versatile white bikini cropped “T-top” doubles as daywear, while a zebra print mini skirt serves as a stylish bathing suit cover-up. Other standout pieces arrive in the form of a chain-adorned swimsuit with a cheeky cutout, a twist-front bikini top in vibrant lime, as well as a baby pink two-piece set accented with braided straps.
Priced between $134 and $549 USD, the “State of Nature” beachwear capsule is now available at The Attico’s website and at select stockists.
