Oceanus Swimwear Unveils New Collection With Top Model Duckie Thot

Oceanus, the London-based womenswear and lifestyle label known for its statement swimwear pieces, has launched its new “Casa Del Duckie” collection with a retro-glamorous campaign fronted by supermodel Duckie Thot.

A dreamy escape from the mundane, the Daniel Sachon-lensed imagery features the South Sudanese-Australian model in an old-timey mansion wearing the latest arrivals from the brand, including a bra top and biker shorts set hand-embroidered with crystals, as well as an orca motif mini dress aptly named the Marina. The campaign also reveals a lineup of new swimsuits coming in an array of summery, vibrant colors — think a lemon-hued one-shoulder bathing suit, pool blue triangle bikinis adorned with Swarovski crystals, and even a bandeau two-piece set crafted from water-resistant velvet.

“The ‘Casa Del Duckie’ campaign is a heightened version of reality. With the world being turned upside down over the last year, I wanted to create a collection which showed the at-home world in a glam, unapologetic way which is inspired by the mystique of the late 1980s and 1990s,” Oceanus founder Hannah Attalah explains to HYPEBAE. “We partnered with Duckie as she represents everything the brand signifies: strength, glam, women’s empowerment and a boss woman attitude. She is a mob boss,” Attalah adds.

In addition to swimwear and the elevated activewear and loungewear separates, the collection also includes a number of accessories such as eye masks, reusable face masks and socks.

Priced between £35 and £550 GBP (approximately $48 and $754 USD), the “Casa Del Duckie” collection is now available at the Oceanus website.
